Le ministre des Travaux publics, <strong>Emmanuel Nganou Djoumessi<\/strong> a indiqu\u00e9 dans un\u00a0\u00a0communiqu\u00e9 que \u00ab<em>le\u00a0dysfonctionnement\u00a0\u00a0prononc\u00e9 de l\u2019ouvrage hydraulique 0h5, situ\u00e9 sur la bretelle d\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l\u2019ancien pont sur le Wouri<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb est \u00e0 l\u2019origine des inondations enregistr\u00e9es jeudi 28 mars \u00e0 l\u2019entr\u00e9e Est de Douala.\u00a0\u00a0Le document sign\u00e9 d\u2019Emmanuel Nganou Djoumessi pr\u00e9cise \u00e9galement que l\u2019\u00e9vacuation de l\u2019eau de cet ouvrage est r\u00e9duite \u00e0 cause de la \u00ab\u00a0pr\u00e9sence en exutoire d\u2019une conduite d\u2019eau Camwater 1200 mm\u00a0et d\u2019autres encombrements par des mat\u00e9riaux solides rejet\u00e9s par les usagers\u00a0\u00bb. Comme mesure d\u2019urgence l\u2019entreprise fran\u00e7aise <strong>Sogea Satom<\/strong>, en charge des travaux de r\u00e9am\u00e9nagement et de curage des voies de canalisation sur le 2<sup>\u00e8me<\/sup>\u00a0pont sur le Wouri est sur le terrain. Il est question de curer automatiquement le syst\u00e8me d\u2019assainissement parce que les pluies tombent elles charrient des d\u00e9bris solides qui bouchent les caniveaux a indiqu\u00e9 <strong>Jean Michel Mbella Eboumbou<\/strong>, le chef de la division des ouvrages d\u2019art.<\/p>\n<p>D\u2019un co\u00fbt total de <strong>141,6 milliards FCFA<\/strong>, le second pont sur le Wouri est constitu\u00e9 d\u2019un viaduc routier long de <strong>756 m<\/strong> et un viaduc ferroviaire de <strong>746 m<\/strong>. C\u2019est un ouvrage strat\u00e9gique, car \u00e0 terme, il permettra de fluidifier la circulation \u00e0 partir de Bonab\u00e9ri, quartier qui abrite une zone industrielle, et le centre-ville de Douala ; et m\u00eame entre la capitale \u00e9conomique et les r\u00e9gions du Nord-Ouest, du Sud-Ouest et de l\u2019Ouest du Cameroun.
