A la t\u00eate d\u2019une d\u00e9l\u00e9gation compos\u00e9e de jeunes athl\u00e8tes et de dirigeants dont le vice-pr\u00e9sident Issaka Kanazo\u00e9, St\u00e9phane Balkouma a exprim\u00e9 toute sa satisfaction, pour cette rencontre avec le pr\u00e9sident du Faso qui vaut, selon lui, la reconnaissance des efforts dans le domaine du sport m\u00e9canique. \u00abNous avons montr\u00e9 au pr\u00e9sident du Faso notre d\u00e9termination \u00e0 faire vivre ce sport au Burkina Faso et l\u2019avons inform\u00e9 de l\u2019organisation au Burkina Faso du championnat ouest-africain de moto, le 30 juin prochain\u00bb, a laiss\u00e9 entendre le directeur technique. Il a indiqu\u00e9 qu\u2019Etalon moto club, qui est pour le moment une simple association, va se muer en une f\u00e9d\u00e9ration sportive d\u2019ici \u00e0 2020. M. Balkouma a inform\u00e9 que le sport m\u00e9canique a vu le jour au Burkina Faso depuis 1976.<\/p>\n<p>Il a connu des moments de gloire avant de traverser une bonne p\u00e9riode de disette. Autrefois pratiqu\u00e9 \u00e0 Naabmatenga, route de P\u00f4, en p\u00e9riph\u00e9rie sud de Ouagadougou, le motocross burkinab\u00e8, selon St\u00e9phane Balkouma, renait de ses cendres avec l\u2019acquisition d\u2019un terrain r\u00e9pondant aux normes internationales, dans la commune de Saaba en 2014.
