Selon ,\u00a0 <strong>IHC<\/strong> l\u2019adjudicataire du march\u00e9,\u00a0 sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans la fabrication d\u2019engins nautiques, l\u2019implantation des pieux de fondations des nouveaux ouvrages est achev\u00e9e, \u00e0 ce jour. La r\u00e9alisation des ouvrages en b\u00e9ton arm\u00e9 de la plateforme de travail ont commenc\u00e9. Suivra la construction de la passerelle d\u2019acc\u00e8s pi\u00e9ton et support de canalisation, de 2 ducs-d\u2019Albe d\u2019accostage et de 2 ducs-d\u2019Albe d\u2019amarrage. Depuis l\u2019ann\u00e9e 2001, cette infrastructure\u00a0 du Port de Douala-Bonab\u00e9ri avait \u00e9t\u00e9 compl\u00e8tement d\u00e9truite apr\u00e8s deux accidents successifs de chocs de navires. Pour l\u2019accueil provisoire des navires p\u00e9troliers, le quai n\u00b01 du port conventionnel sera am\u00e9nag\u00e9 provisoirement pour les op\u00e9rations de d\u00e9chargement des cargaisons des produits p\u00e9troliers destin\u00e9s au march\u00e9 national et \u00e0 certains pays de la sous-r\u00e9gion. Mais avec de grands risques d\u2019incendie et d\u2019explosion pouvant embraser le port conventionnel en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral et le quai n\u00b01 en particulier.
