As part of the 325th anniversary of the Great Peace of Montreal, Terres en vue presents on August 14 at 7:30 p.m. at the Outremont Theater, on the closing evening of the 36th International Indigenous Presence Festival (FIPA), a concert – event where music, song and poetry will be brought together in a sound fresco weaving a bridge between yesterday and today.
On the island of Tiohtá:ke, we artists invite you to celebrate, in a large vibrant concert, The Great Peace of Montreal of 1701 — this moment when nations met not in the clash of arms, but in the dignity of the words exchanged and in the promise of a shared future.
With the Forestare Guitar Ensemble, Richard Desjardins, Joséphine Bacon, Jacques Newashish, Andrée Lévesque Sioui, Marianne Lambert, Sandrine Masse-Savard, Éric Dupont, Élise Turcotte, Hélène Collin, Kate Bevan Baker, Benjamin Tremblay Carpentier, Marc Morin, Elvira Misbakhova and Élisabeth Giroux. The 36th FIPA will take place from 4 to August 14, 2026.
