More than 300 guests and guests were present on February 27, during the 21st Dialogue Iftar which was organized this year by the Atlas Media group and the Cultures & Diversité association which was founded just a few months ago by Abdelghani Dades, Najahi Rachid and Nadia Bouadi.
These well-known personalities within the Moroccan community have been committed for many years to promoting the culture of their country of origin in Quebec and Canada. This is how the members of the association, including Abdelhak Boussayri, received a certificate from the National Assembly of Quebec from the provincial deputy Monsef Derraji.
The big Iftar (dinner) of Ramadan, which is organized each year by the Atlas Media group, is a meeting of sharing and piety that allows members of the community to come together in a warm atmosphere and meet people from diverse backgrounds.
The media group, which is led by Rachid Nadjari and Abdelghani Dades, allows elected officials at different levels to meet citizens in a climate conducive to exchange and dialogue.
Indeed, during this 21st Dialogue Iftar, the Moroccan ambassador to Canada, Ms. Souriya Otmani, delivered a message that is focused on the future while the global context is increasingly under tension. During the evening, the Atlas Media group honored five people for their commitment and their inspiring career trajectories.
Mohamed Boufenzi, Hind Kaghat, Sami Kemmoun, Najat Boughaba and Mohamed Noredine Mimoun received honorary trophies which were presented to them by political figures present during this event which was punctuated by several artistic performances.
At the time of writing this article, we are entering the second half of this blessed month of Ramadan and we take this opportunity, on behalf of the newspaper L’initiative, to congratulate the Atlas Media group for the organization of this event and wish them good luck with the same energy for the years to come.
