The car racer and host BERTRAND GODIN is among the finalists in the BEST ANIMATION: SPORTS OR LEISURE category at the next 2026 Gémeaux Awards gala. This nomination was given to Bertrand Godin for his touching and remarkable animation of the show DEVENIR PILOTE.
The 41st Gémeaux Awards Gala has revealed the list of 2026 nominations, the Gala of which will be broadcast on September 13. However this year, with the quality of the applications received, the members of the jury had a difficult task to nominate the finalists in each of the categories.
This appointment has great meaning for Bertrand Godin who was visibly very moved during the announcement this morning. “It was a surprise! I was so happy that our work was nominated in this category, regardless of the result, it’s already very flattering. ABOUT BERTRAND GODINIn the motor racing landscape for almost 40 years, Bertrand Godin has an impressive international career. Vice-champion of France twice in Formula Ford for the Mygale team in 1993 and 1994, winner of the Canadian Grand Prix and the Cleveland Grand Prix in Formula Atlantic in 1997, it was in 2018 that Bertrand Godin made a notable return to the track of the Canadian Grand Prix and the Trois-Rivières Grand Prix in Formula 1600. August 11, 2018, after a race in a stunning victory that he led from the first lap, Bertrand climbed onto the top step of the podium at the Trois-Rivières Grand Prix for the first time in his career.
