Since 1987, Cora restaurants have been setting the lunch table. Today, leaders in morning gastronomy are proud to announce the latest developments. The visual advertising identity, the presentation of the menu, the photos of the dishes and the decor: everything was sifted through, not to find a new identity, but rather to rethink the brand, infuse it with an innovative creative direction and propel it into a new era in order to meet the constantly evolving needs of customers. The franchisor is currently working with various partners to renew the design of the restaurants and to update the brand. The menu also features unique dishes that continue to redefine breakfast, one plate at a time.
Joining forces with creative accomplices “Cora chose to update the image of her brand to reflect its dynamism and its desire to remain relevant to consumers from coast to coast. Today, there is a wind of renewal blowing at Cora, a real desire to evolve the brand to give it the same breath of freshness that blew through Quebec in the early 90s when Cora changed the breakfast restaurant scene. The Emma Branding team is proud to collaborate in the promotion of this Quebec flagship,” declares Marc-André Lamy, Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Emma Branding.
Change of decor Artesa Architectes Designers was given the mandate to rethink the aesthetics and style of the establishments. The result promises a transformation that is both refreshing and remarkable, featuring a warmer atmosphere and a vibrant, colorful design. Opened last June, the Cora in the Evanston district of Calgary gives a taste of the brand’s new style. The same will be true for the next restaurant that will open its doors in Edmonton, Alberta. “In fact, all of our restaurants will now open with this new design and we will gradually proceed, with our franchisees, to the renovation of our 125 existing restaurants over the coming years,” explains Benoit Morel, vice-president, Business Development and Legal Affairs at Cora.
Pizza in the morning? YES! Cora Tsouflidou revolutionized the first meal of the day by instilling a lifestyle habit for generations to come: going out for lunch at a restaurant! Before the chain opened its doors, you could get by with a plate of two eggs, bacon and potatoes in a snack box. But the lunch restaurant as we know it today, with its gargantuan variety of dishes and its plates or cocktails made with fresh fruit, is the Cora concept, imagined by its founder. “Reinventing the art of lunch, offering original dishes that allow people to experience memorable moments, that’s part of our DNA,” emphasizes Geneviève Duquette, marketing director at Cora.
The arrival of a completely reinvented category, breakfast pizzas, confirms that creativity is best enjoyed crispy, early in the morning. Five varieties of pizza feature wonderfully combined and typical breakfast flavors: hollandaise sauce, pulled ham, assorted cheeses, smoked salmon, Canadian maple syrup, fresh fruit and eggs. Breakfast pizzas are available for a limited time only.
A pioneer who hasn’t finished reinventing breakfast This fall, Cora is presenting her menu with a remodeled look. To set the tone, the brand is having fun by also offering new dishes: breakfast tacos full of freshness, a breakfast poutine for meat lovers, and two Ben and Dictine as tasty as they are original. For taste buds who hesitate between sweet and savory, two delicious duos from Ben and Dictine accompanied by a delicious sweet specialty make their debut. Cora even added potato sides to personalize! If this makes you want to raise a glass to the brand, it’s perfect. Cora now offers four mocktails on its menu!
Cora, proudly local, frankly authentic, entirely tasty and always amazing.
