Raised by his adoptive grandfather, Goku spends much of his time training. Throughout his adventures, he makes many friends who help him train and fight ever more powerful enemies.
A member of the Saiyan people, Kakarot, known as Sangoku, is supported by Bulma, Kamé Sennin known as the Awesome Turtle, Chichi, Ten Shin Han, Krillin, Chaozu, Yamcha, Yajirobé and many others. Suffice it to say that Goku’s list of friends and enemies has evolved over the years to the point where this cult series has touched an entire generation, thereby creating a cultural phenomenon that is anchored in popular culture.

The Dragon Ball series continues to fascinate even after the tragic death of its creator Akira Toriyama[1] in March 2024.
