The Association of Recreational Vehicle Dealers of Quebec (ACVRQ) is kicking off the Montreal VR Show at 10 a.m. today, the largest RV gathering in Canada. From March 5 to 8, 2026, the Palais des congrès de Montréal welcomes more than 300 recreational vehicles and 120 exhibitors and unveils Quebec and Canadian firsts particularly awaited by enthusiasts.
This edition highlights the growing diversity of the market and the marked interest of Quebecers in ways to travel here, in the country, in complete autonomy. Driven by the emergence of local companies and the growing popularity of four-season vehicles adapted to the northern climate, the proposed offering reflects an industry in transformation. Visitors will be able to discover varied solutions meeting different lifestyles, whether families, active couples, nomadic teleworkers or vanlife enthusiasts.
“The Montreal RV Show reflects the rapid evolution of our industry and the continued enthusiasm of Quebecers for more flexible and accessible ways of traveling. The 2026 edition brings together a concentration of expertise, technologies and new products under one roof,” says Steve Lapierre, general director of the ACVRQ.The 6 essentials of the 36th edition
1. Nova Camp redefines the standards of waterproofing The Quebec brand Nova Camp relies on a 100% waterproof composite thermoplastic construction, welded without screws and guaranteed for 10 years against water infiltration. To demonstrate this, the unit is installed in a 9 x 18 foot basin filled with water. A tangible demonstration that positions the 13SB as the first unit of this type manufactured in Quebec. The brand is also presenting, in a major Canadian first, a brand new model of mounted caravan.
2. A brand new four-season motorhome from Montreal presented as a premiereThe Show will be the scene of the premiere unveiling of Fjord, a new Quebec brand designed for the new generation of travelers in search of freedom. It will present its very first model, a compact four-season motorhome designed and assembled in Montreal. This high-end vehicle, with a capacity of two to four occupants, is distinguished by a refined design approach, premium materials and engineering designed to meet the specific needs of Quebec travelers. The model notably incorporates an important innovation: a convertible shower-counter allowing the counter to be transformed into a complete bathroom, a unique arrangement on the North American market. Customized configuration options will be offered, including the possibility of adding a bunk bed.
3. A Canadian first: the all-new Westfalia Wave for 2 The public will also be able to discover, as a Canadian first, the all-new Westfalia Wave for 2, officially launched in 2026. Made in Canada, this model marks an evolution of the Westfalia heritage by combining European DNA and North American standards. Compact and versatile, it is designed for active couples, traveling retirees and modern nomads who want a vehicle that can be used on a daily basis, but is sufficiently equipped for extended stays. Among its distinctive features are its large rear bed, its high-quality European finish and its optimized front space including a large refrigerator.
4. Travel itineraries and inspirationBeyond vehicles, the Show highlights local and Canadian tourism with the presence of representatives from Manitoba, Ontario, Yukon and New Brunswick, as well as several regions of Quebec, notably the North Shore, Outaouais and Mégantic. Visitors will be able to interact directly with these tourist organizations, discover emblematic routes and leave with itinerary ideas.
5. Premiere launch of the Quebec Camping Guide Presented for the first time at the Show, the new edition of the Quebec Camping Guide becomes the reference tool for planning your vacation: 1,160 campsites are listed across the province, with practical information for learning about new sites and locating RV dealers near you. An essential for preparing for the season and optimizing your reservations. <salonduvr.com/>
