The musical show Évangéline has just crossed the impressive milestone of 50,000 tickets sold, confirming its status as an undeniable popular success. As the entire team of this major production begins its final stretch, the public has one last chance to discover this grandiose musical fresco on stage. After winning over audiences in Montreal, Quebec, Trois-Rivières and, most recently, Moncton, Évangéline is back at the Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier at Place des Arts until August 9, before ending her adventure at the Grand Théâtre de Québec, from September 3 to 13, 2026.

Since February, Évangéline has continued a journey marked by ever more mastered, more accomplished and deeply moving production. Proof of the public’s attachment to this founding story of Acadia, that of exile, of the threatened language and of anchoring to the territory, the show confirms its immense success wherever it is presented.

An original creation inspired by historical facts and carried by a warmly acclaimed cast which notably brings together Maude Cyr-Deschênes, Olivier Dion, Matthieu Lévesque and Nathalie Simard, Évangéline retraces the epic tale of two legendary lovers and forcefully celebrates Acadian pride, identity and resilience. Whether we are discovering Évangéline for the first time or wishing to appreciate all of her evolution, there is now only one last chance to experience one of the great cultural events of 2026, on the occasion of her last performances in Montreal and Quebec.
