The Council of Quebec Imams has announced that the first day of Ramadan in Quebec, Canada will be Thursday February 19, 2026.
Several countries, including Algeria, Tunisia, Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunei, have announced that the first day of Ramadan will be Thursday, February 19.
Saudi Arabia has announced that tomorrow, Wednesday February 18, will be the first day of the month of Ramadan. In France the date is set for February 18.
Other countries such as Morocco, Mauritania, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Iran have indicated that they will observe the moon on Wednesday evening.
