On the program this year: the return of our popular events, new children’s shows with Ribambelle and the most prestigious fireworks competition in the world, L’International des Feux Loto-Québec which is celebrating its 40th edition this year… without forgetting its rides which combine adrenaline, laughter and family memories.
40 YEARS IS CELEBRATING! – 40TH EDITION OF THE INTERNATIONAL DES FEUX LOTO-QUÉBEC from July 2 to August 6
The biggest fireworks competition in the world is back for an even more dazzling edition! For a 40th time, the Montreal sky will serve as the backdrop for one of the most spectacular pyrotechnic events on the planet. Six competing countries and two tribute shows will be presented.
“We are pleased to present the 40th edition of L’International des Feux Loto-Québec, a major event that highlights the Montreal region. We would also like to salute the efforts that the event has made in recent years to implement initiatives aimed at reducing its environmental impact,” underlines Eric Meunier, director of societal engagement at Loto-Québec.
As tradition dictates, Quebecers and tourists will once again be able to find themselves in the front row of this eight-day summer event at the La Ronde site and experience its magic on site. The Quebec firm Laser-Quantum will also be back this year to work with teams of pyrotechnicians to dazzle spectators by including 5 minutes of laser games per show.

Every fire evening, we will offer a special creation including projections on a water screen and immersive laser effects which will highlight significant moments in the history of the event. A popular juryThe International des Feux Loto-Québec is looking for 19 fireworks enthusiasts to form this year’s jury. These people will have the enviable but important task of attending all the pyrotechnic presentations at La Ronde, evaluating the performance of each competing firm and ranking the six countries represented.

LA RONDE VIRE COUNTRY – BACK WITH ONE MORE WEEKEND August 22, 23, 29, 30 and September 5, 6, 7After the success of the first edition, the La Ronde vire Country event is back in force this year with the addition of a third weekend to the program. The last two weekends of August as well as the first weekend of September, La Ronde will vibrate to the rhythm of Country and transform Fort Edmonton into a true Western universe: shows by emerging country artists at Bar Le Saloon, a program presented by Coca-Cola, entertainment and line dancing classes, a mechanical bull as well as giant games of skill to entertain young and old.
‘ADRENALINE’ EVENINGS return – Saturday September 12, 19 and 26 ‘Adrenaline’ evenings return this year for the pleasure of our visitors: thrills on our rides at night. DJ atmosphere, neon and bright entertainment. Dare to go on a nocturnal adventure and experience new sensations by taking rides in the dark. Most of the rides will be open to guests, with the exception of the children’s rides in the Pays de Ribambelle.
PUMPKIN FESTIVAL – Weekends from October 3 to 25, and Monday, October 12 La Ronde will celebrate Halloween with children during the month of October, starting on the first Saturday of the month (weekends and Thanksgiving Day). Until 5 p.m., the site will be completely under the “halloween” theme, with entertainment, shows and candy for the whole family!
FESTIVAL DE LA FAYEUR presented by FIZZ – Weekends from October 3 to 25, and Monday October 12 For a third year, La Ronde becomes a huge open-air haunted house from 5 p.m.
The Fright Festival – which is certainly the scariest of its kind in Quebec – presents for a third year several fear zones and new features throughout the park. Not to be missed: the opening show of each evening “The Awakening of Fright” at 5:30 p.m. at the Place de l’Animation featuring more than 75 monsters, each more frightening than the other in a gripping performance. Please note that the Fright Festival is recommended for children aged 12 and over, and that the monsters will remain outside the Pays de Ribambelle and DinoParc.
SHOWS IN THE COUNTRY OF RIBAMBELLEFamily entertainment will be present again this year. The popular mascot Ribambelle and his friends the Z will be on stage to present brand new shows that will delight children throughout the season. These will be presented 6 times a day on the Pays de Ribambelle stage from June 20 to September 7.
