Maison 4:3 and 10e Ave Productions are pleased to unveil the official poster and trailer for the feature film Lydia and the Ship of Storms. Sophie Nélisse plays the apprentice astromagician Lydia, alongside Anthony Kavanagh, Eveline Gélinas, Guy Nadon, Gildor Roy, Dorothée Berryman, Alexandre Bacon, Lyndz Dantiste, Kevin Houle and Philomène Bilodeau, among others. Sixth feature film from 10e Ave Productions, Lydia and the Ship of Storms will be released on February 20, 2026.

Sophie Nélisse also lends her voice to the heroine in the English version of the film, Lydia and the Mist Rider, which also features performers Mizinga Mwinga, Hasani Freeman and Sarah Booth.

Summary of the filmLydia and the Mist Rider takes us through a completely fantastic universe. When her older brother Thaddeus is mysteriously kidnapped by the Mesmer, Lydia (11 years old) goes looking for him in the Sea of ​​Mist. Taken in by the crew of the Dauphin, a flying sailboat, she becomes the apprentice of the astromagician, Ambrosia. She is looking for other children who have also disappeared, including her own son. Determined to solve this mystery, Lydia will have to learn astronmagic and trust herself. With heart and spirit, she will have to face the Mesmer.

After more than two years of work, under the direction of screenwriter and co-director Emilie Rosas, artistic director and co-director Philippe Arseneau Bussières and producer and co-director Nancy Florence Savard of 10e Ave, the film has finally reached its final version. The screenplay, written by Emilie Rosas, is a free adaptation of the books by Yves Meynard: The Ship of Storms and The Ice Prince, published by Éditions Médiaspaul.
