After a year 2025 rich in emotions, with the release of her fifth album, Bigger Kids, Bigger Problems (Simone Records) which was acclaimed by critics, and her first novel La note de passage (Québec America), Pascale Picard returns to the stage by presenting a brand new show. More than 20 years after her last concert in Montreal, the singer-songwriter will make her comeback in front of the city’s public on March 18 at the Lion d’Or, a venue that she particularly likes, notably for the unique proximity it offers with the spectators. Tickets are on sale now at PASCALEPICARD.COM.
For this next meeting, directed by Karine Arsenault (Belle et Bum, Piano Public, La Fête nationale dans la Capitale), Pascale Picard surrounded herself with the talented musicians Marie-Pierre Bellefeuille (keyboard, vocals), Kenton Mail (drums) and Endrick Tremblay (guitar, vocals), under the direction of bassist Alexandre Lapointe, accomplice director of her latest album. Together, they will deliver on stage the artist’s memorable songs, the most recent, as well as the essentials of his repertoire!
The show Bigger Kids, Bigger Problems reveals a Pascale Picard as luminous as she is vulnerable; an accessible and captivating artist, who knows how to transport the audience into her unique universe, where each note, each word carries emotion and truth. An invitation to a resolutely current and authentic musical experience, like his latest record: an album of maturity, rediscovered freedom and fully assumed sensitivity, unanimously praised…
A multitalented artist, let us remember that in parallel with her artistic projects, Pascale Picard also works on the radio: she co-hosts the return show on FM 93 every day of the week. Finally, in addition to her show on March 18 in Montreal, she will also take the stage of the Théâtre des Muses in Laval on April 4. A 9th wave production. For details: PASCALEPICARD.COM
A LITTLE MORE ABOUT PASCALE PICARDAlmost seven years after the release of her fourth album, Pascale Picard was back last spring with the enthusiasm of her beginnings, the wisdom of experience and the passion that still vibrates. In 2007, his inaugural album, Me, Myself & Us, quickly crossed borders, seducing thousands of ears across two continents. More than 350,000 copies have been sold, rewards are plentiful and meetings are multiplying. A Letter to No One appeared in spring 2011, confirming her role as an incisive songwriter. In 2014, his third musical chapter came to life: All Things Pass. On stage, sometimes surrounded, sometimes alone, she explores her authenticity and confronts her limits. A fruitful break then resulted in a series of songs which took shape on The Beauty We’ve Found, in October 2018. During her career, we could see her sell out the Olympia in Paris and excite the crowd as the opening act for Paul McCartney on the Plains of Abraham. The exploits were grandiose. You can hear her on the radio as co-host, and at the same time as the release of her first fiction novel La note de passage, in the spring of 2025, Pascale Picard unveiled Bigger Kids, Bigger Problems, an album on which she discusses the transition to midlife, breakups, letting go, femininity and the excitement of life that changes halfway. She lets her gaze open to the future and its possibilities. The problems may be bigger, but so is the future.
