As part of the Rally-Expos of the Vues dAfrique International Festival, the Nouvim-Arts Expos collective presents the collective exhibition Divers Cités, which will be held from February 3 to March 15, 2026 at the NA-RIVÉ Center in Montreal. This exhibition will also celebrate the launch of the visual arts exhibitions of Rallye-Expos 2026 which will continue until the end of June in various art galleries and museums in Montreal.
Organized during Black History Month, this exhibition highlights Afro-Canadian-Quebec artists whose artistic practices demonstrate the richness of plural identities, intercultural dialogue and Montreal living together. Through various forms of expression; painting, watercolor, engraving and photography. The works presented explore the links between memory, territory, heritage and contemporary creation.
The event is under the honorary presidency of the great artist Gabriel Landry, a notable figure on the artistic scene, and celebrates artistic twinning as well as the cultural diversity that shapes Montreal.
Continuing the mission of the Vues dAfrique Rally-Expos, this artistic encounter reaffirms the essential role of art and culture in bringing people together, promoting intercultural exchanges and creating a dialogue that transcends borders and words.
The exhibition is produced with the collaboration of the NA-RIVÉ Center and is part of the official programming of the Vues dAfrique 2026 Festival.
