Vital Distribution and Vital Productions are pleased to announce that the feature film Tissé tight (Tight Lettuce) directed by Harrison Houde will be presented at the opening of the 18th edition of the Percé International Film and Art Festival – Les Percéides which will be held from August 19 to 23.
Winner of the Gold Audience Award for best Quebec feature film at the Fantasia International Film Festival, the film stars Emmanuel Bilodeau and Dakota Daulby in remarkable interpretations of a complex father-son relationship. France Castel, Maxim Roy, Guy Jodoin, Didier Lucien, Christie Burke, Jennifer Khoe, Josh Cruddas and Rodrigo Fernandez-Stoll are also part of the cast.
This opening evening will take place on Wednesday, August 19 at 7 p.m. at the Percé Art Center and will be marked by the exceptional presence of actor Emmanuel Bilodeau. A second screening of the film will take place on Thursday, August 20 at 1 p.m. at the Vieille Usine de l’Anse in Beaufils.
SynopsisInspired by a true story, Tightly Woven is a dark comedy about Joel’s unwavering love for his father, Bodo, who struggles with heroin and fentanyl addiction. Despite Bodo’s denial and the chaos his addiction brings, Joel documents his father’s struggle, hoping to inspire change. With their bond deepening, Joel can choose to confront his father or cherish their remaining time together.
