The film will open the 45th International Cinema Festival in Abitibi-T\u00e9miscamingue on Saturday, October 31 at the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre du copper in Rouyn-Noranda, before being presented during the Gala evening of the 32nd edition of the CINEMANIA Film Festival on Monday, November 9 at the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Maisonneuve at Place des Arts in Montreal. VILLENEUVE: THE RISE OF A LEGEND will be released on November 11.<\/p>\n<p>This double selection, which is added to the presentation of the film at the Closing Gala of the Toronto International Film Festival on September 19, demonstrates the keen interest aroused by the film.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVilleneuve: The Rise of a Legend has all the qualities of a major work,\u201d declares Jacques Matte, co-founder of the Abitibi-T\u00e9miscamingue International Cinema Festival. \u201cI had the privilege of attending a screening of the film, a few seats away from Guilhem Caillard, director of CINEMANIA. From the end credits, we knew that the film&rsquo;s engine was already roaring with impatience, ready to win the greatest race of all: that of the audience&rsquo;s hearts. R\u00e9mi Goulet embodies with accuracy, intensity and sensitivity the ardor, determination and passion of Gilles Villeneuve. Producers Christian Larouche and Tim Ringuette hold the steering wheel of a magnificent bright red Ferrari in their hands.
