Hosted by Charles Bender and designed with Xavier Huard, both artistic directors of Productions Menuentakuan, the evening will take the form of an ephemeral and intimate celebration in the light of a campfire created for the occasion. The public will be invited to gather in a circle around this imaginary fire, the universal cradle of transmission through speech, an age-old technology from which the Théâtre Aux Écuries draws inspiration to radiate the strength of a collective of artists.

The creators will, each in turn, open a window onto their artistic universe and will offer, through multiple forms and speaking engagements, a foretaste of what they will present at the Théâtre Aux Écuries throughout the season. It is therefore a unique opportunity to pass through the doors of the theater to discover the shows which will come to life on stage from September 22.

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display:inline-block;width:728px;height:90px;"
data-ad-client="ca-pub-8992136571741975"
data-ad-slot="6185130430"></ins>

PROGRAMMING SEASON 2026-2027 Faithful to its mission as a theatrical incubator offering a showcase for emerging artists and alternative forms, the Théâtre Aux Écuries presents its 15th season, an anniversary season made up of eight shows, events and festivals and offering programming that is at once impactful, poetic and political.

To open the season, author Philippe Ducros and director Sasha Samar transport us to Mariupol, Ukraine, in March 2022. Together, they explore the dizziness of humans and artists in the face of the violence of war. A fragmented and choral text, Mariupol is a poetic and modest attempt to question the power of art when everything collapses, and to extend a hand to Ukraine as well as to our humanity. From September 22 to October 10 by Hôtel-Motel.

In Angle Mort, Stéphanie Morin-Robert recounts with aplomb her journey of acceptance of difference, from her childhood in northern Ontario, to the confident mother she has become. In this production, fear is transformed into strength and resilience into joy of living. From October 14 to 16, with Stéphanie Morin-Robert.

Last show of the fall, Parallel Widows tells the story of Amanda, who remained silent for the last 18 years of her life. Claudine Rivest paints a family portrait where the terrifying and the banal rub shoulders. A wordless creation that combines puppets and music and questions the transmission of memory between women of different generations. From November 24 to December 5, a co-production of Les Sages fous.

Winter 2027 opens with Pichichi by Mariana Tayler Gomez. The author creates a whirlwind comedy celebrating resilience and the legacies that build us. Carried by four performers, this family fresco follows Mariana’s journey on the day of her cousin’s wedding, a celebration which, through many twists and turns, transforms into an incredible ordeal. Welcome to the organized chaos of a Latin American family. From February 2 to 20, a creation by Mariana Tayler Gomez.

In March, Maryline Chery offers a dramatic comedy that explores the role of Haitian women in the transmission of heritage. In MENAJ, Auntie Jo orchestrates the wedding of her only nephew, but the party is derailed when family tensions flare and the caterer cancels. Between laughter and crises, the cousins will have to choose between saving the ceremony or their precious sorority. From March 16 to 27 by the Potomitan Theater Collective.

Finally, to close the season, the Théâtre I.N.K. presents his new creation, Sans nous. Marie Darah and Olivier Sylvestre writing and Marilyn Perreault directing present a show in a place halfway between a locker room and a museum where we discover ourselves and tell our stories. Sans nous is an invitation to dream of a space where the uniqueness of each person is collectively celebrated without leaving anyone behind. From April 13 to 24, 2027 by the I.N.K. Theater.

AND ALSOFrom October 20 to 24, 2026, Léon le null by Francis Monty will be presented by the Théâtre de la Pire Espèce. For a 12th edition, Vous sont ici/You are here takes place in the spaces of the Théâtre Aux Écuries for a week of creation and three ambulatory evenings. Multidisciplinary artists come together to offer a living laboratory, a celebration of emerging creation and a joyful panorama of what is to come. From October 30 to November 1, 2026 by La SERRE – arts vivants.

WELCOME FESTIVALSThe Théâtre Aux Écuries will host the 2nd edition of the LA MÈCHE COURTE festival, the 21st edition of the Casteliers International Festival, the 26th edition of the Jamais Lu Montréal Festival and the OFFTA.

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display:inline-block;width:728px;height:90px;"
data-ad-client="ca-pub-8992136571741975"
data-ad-slot="6185130430"></ins>

After unveiling its programming last May, the Théâtre Aux Écuries (TAÉ) is taking advantage of the cultural season to meet the public and the artistic community: the launch evening for its new season will take place on August 25 at 5 p.m. The event will highlight the creators of the season, the festivals hosted as […]

[6

post-1116","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-communiques
["GET
