Part of the MON VILLAGE series, which is interested in the occupation of the territory and its possession, this show by the autrix of poetry, slam artist and playwright from the Nova Scotia, looks at humanity&rsquo;s place in an infinite cosmos. With a breathtaking pen and a unique language, the autrix explores the absurd space between the daily anxieties of humankind and the potential of its interstellar ambitions. Going back and forth between retro 8-bit sound and languorous ballads \u00e0 la Patsy Cline, Katrine No\u00ebl and Xavier Richard record the musical composition.<\/p>\n<p>EXTRACTHouse in a mist.It&rsquo;s not really a mist, but more like, like a cloud.Actually, it&rsquo;s not that I&rsquo;m in a cloud.I&rsquo;m a cloud.And so are you.Everyone are clouds. [\u2026]And we talk to each other Well, not like actually talking, but we glow messages back and forth. Your joke about steam almost made me rain my pants. I would say it back, but it&rsquo;s kind of a had-to-be-there kind of thing. But I can&rsquo;t help but giggle like an idiot every time I hear the word \u201cFluffy\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Autrix: C\u00e9leste GodinC\u00e9leste Godin is a multidisciplinary autrix originally from Halifax, and living in Paquetville. Since her decision in 2015 to \u201cfire an artist\u201d, C\u00e9leste Godin has written columns, essays, slams and several absurdities for the web, often on her plural vision of Acadian identity. In 2019, they signed their first play Overlap, a love-hate letter to Moncton in faux leather produced by Satellite Th\u00e9\u00e2tre. Overlap was published in 2020 by Prize de Parole. C\u00e9leste also wrote and performed custom-written texts for the show Tableau de Backyard, broadcast on national Radio-Canada in 2021. Her second play, Bou\u00e9e, was produced by Satellite Th\u00e9\u00e2tre and released in 2023.<\/p><div id=\"linit-635793931\" class=\"linit-dans-le-contenu linit-entity-placement\"><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-8992136571741975\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-8992136571741975\" \ndata-ad-slot=\"1055921646\" \ndata-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins>\n<script> \n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); \n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n<p>Direction and artistic direction \u2013Marc-Andr\u00e9 CharronMarc-Andr\u00e9 Charron is a theater artist, author and director who has been active for over twenty years. His practice lies at the crossroads of physical theater, stage writing and collective creation, and is distinguished by accessible and daring works, where humor and vulnerability interact with a demanding formal approach. Trained at the Jacques Lecoq International Theater School (Paris) and the London International School of Performing Arts (England), he has created and staged shows in Canada and internationally. He is co-founder and artistic director of Satellite Th\u00e9\u00e2tre (Moncton, New Brunswick), a company recognized for its contemporary creations and its commitment to accessibility and the influence of French-speaking artists in minority situations. Recipient of the \u00c9loize for artist of the year in theater for Les Trois Mousquetaires Plomberie and winner of the Top 20 leaders under 40 years of the City of Moncton, he is also a finalist for the Literary Prize Antonine-Maillet\u2013Acadie Vie for Hippocampe, still touring the country. His recent work includes OVERLAP and Bou\u00e9e by C\u00e9leste Godin, P\u00e9pins, a journey of small distresses by Caroline B\u00e9lisle, as well as La Machine \u00e0 cons, in collaboration with the author Annick Lefebvre.
