Distributed by Les Films Opale and Entract Films and produced by Les Films OUTSIDERS, this animated feature film is a vibrant musical fable about memory, the passing of time and our connection with infinity. Adapted from Kid Koala&rsquo;s graphic novel, SPACE CADET, L&rsquo;ODYSS\u00c9E DE C\u00c9LESTE is a story told without dialogue, which is aimed at the whole family. Produced by Ginette Petit, Nathalie Bissonnette and Michel Pradier, the film is written by Myl\u00e8ne Chollet.<\/p>\n<p>ROBOT always looked after C\u00c9LESTE, until she became a brilliant scientist and astronaut. When it goes on an interstellar mission, ROBOT must face loneliness and the aging of its system. In the immensity of space, C\u00c9LESTE faces great dangers. As she struggles to overcome these obstacles, memories of her childhood resurface, illuminating her path through the darkness.<\/p>\n<p>Presented as a world premiere at the 75th Berlinale last year, SPACE CADET, THE ODYSSEY OF C\u00c9LESTE is enjoying a successful festival career. These iconic songs are performed by renowned singers, including Emil\u00edana Torrini, Martha Wainwright, Meagan Smith, Mariana \u201cLadybug\u201d Vieira and Karen O, who bring their unique touch to this soundtrack. Lilian Chan is aesthetic designer and head of story, Corinne Merrell is the artistic director, she also edits with Alain Baril and the sound design was entrusted to Olivier Calvert.
