Until February 12, 2026, up-and-coming artists in song and humor are invited to submit their applications for the competition and get the chance to take the stage which has revealed many artists including Lou-Adriane Cassidy, Sam Breton, Maxime Landry, Sara Dufour, Philippe Laprise, Andr\u00e9 Sauv\u00e9, Maude Cyr-Desch\u00eanes, Eve C\u00f4t\u00e9 and Mia Tinayre.<\/p>\n<p>This year, the competition will welcome 28 participants in five distinct categories: Author-composer-performer (13 years and over); Interpreter (17 years and under); Interpreter (18 years and over); Humor (18 years and over); and LOL Humor Competition (6th year at the end of secondary school). In addition to 100 hours of training led by industry professionals before and during the event, competing artists have the chance to receive up to $60,000 in the form of prizes, scholarships and training.<\/p>\n<p>A major regional event For more than 25 years, Le Tremplin de D\u00e9gelis has established itself as an emblematic event of song and humor throughout the French-speaking world. In addition to bringing together artists from the French-speaking world, visitors and residents of the region, the event embodies a real launching pad for emerging talents thanks to its flagship competition.<\/p><div id=\"linit-113331596\" class=\"linit-dans-le-contenu linit-entity-placement\"><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-8992136571741975\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-8992136571741975\" \ndata-ad-slot=\"1055921646\" \ndata-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins>\n<script> \n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); \n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cThe Tremplin de D\u00e9gelis is an important event, both for the region and for the next generation of singers and comedians. Kicking off the tourist season in Bas Saint-Laurent, this unique event brings together nearly 4,000 festival-goers each year around a major celebration, dedicated to the discovery of emerging artists,\u201d underlines Christian Ouellet, president of the board of directors of the Festival Le Tremplin de D\u00e9gelis.<\/p>\n<p>From May 11 to 17, 2026, the selected artists will enjoy a unique immersive experience: exchanges with industry professionals, personalized training, performances accompanied by a group of five experienced musicians, and performances in front of an audience. Throughout the festival, shows and cultural events will enliven the region, culminating in a grand finale of humor and song.<\/p>\n<p>Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Baril and Andr\u00e9anne A. Malette in the front row An emblematic figure of Quebec humor and radio animation, Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Baril renews his commitment as host and spokesperson for the festival for a fifth consecutive year. A graduate of the National School of Humor in 1996, he left his mark on the Quebec media landscape as co-founder of the group Les Mecs Comique and host of the hit show La guerre des clans.<\/p>\n<p>He will share the stage with Andr\u00e9anne A. Malette, singer-songwriter and producer. Revealed to the general public at Star Acad\u00e9mie in 2012, the artist has accumulated more than 12 million streams on music streaming platforms. She is currently finishing the tour of her show Les jardins d\u00e9d\u00e9s\u00e9s, presented across the four corners of Quebec. Andr\u00e9anne A. Le Tremplin de D\u00e9gelis thanks its many partners for their essential support in pursuing the organization\u2019s mission.<\/p>\n<p>About the Tremplin de D\u00e9gelisThe Tremplin de D\u00e9gelis&rsquo; mission is to introduce emerging artists in song and humor, in addition to promoting the cultural and tourist development of the T\u00e9miscouata region. Over the years, the event has attracted more than 75,000 spectators. Over the past five years, more than $415,000 in prizes and scholarships have been awarded to participants. With nearly 200 volunteers, Le Tremplin was awarded the title of Laureate during the 2023 B\u00e9n\u00e9volat-Qu\u00e9bec Hommage Awards Ceremony in the \u201cOrganization\u201d category for its exceptional contribution to the influence and development of volunteer action.
