Starring Josh O\u2019Connor (Challengers, The Mastermind), Meghann Fahy (White Lotus), Kali Reis (True Detective: Night Country), Amy Madigan (Weapons) and Lila LaTorre (Run Rabbit Run), REBUILDING had its world premiere and in competition at the Sundance Film Festival. It was also presented in competition at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival last July.<\/p>\n<p>A tender, humanist story challenging our view of the American West, Rebuilding follows Dusty (Josh O&rsquo;Connor), a reserved, divorced father whose ranch burns in a devastating wildfire. Now living in a displaced community run by FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency), Dusty finds comfort in his new neighbors who have also lost everything. He quietly rebuilds his life and reconnects with his ex-wife Ruby (Meghann Fahy) and his young daughter Callie-Rose (Lily LaTorre).<\/p>\n<p>Set against a backdrop of the majestic landscapes of southern Colorado, REBUILDING offers a contemplative and moving portrait of mutual support in the face of loss and the resilience of a community. The film directly confronts the cowboy myth with our current environmental crisis, finding hope in the beauty of the vast lands that so many call home.
