Presented to a sold-out crowd at the Fantasia International Film Festival last summer, it will be shown on March 13 at Cin\u00e9ma Beaubien, Cin\u00e9ma Le Clap Ste-Foy, Cin\u00e9ma Pine and Cin\u00e9ma Le Tapis Rouge. A series of screenings in the presence of the film team will be held in several cities in Quebec.<\/p>\n<p>On the occasion of International Women&rsquo;s Day, March 8, two special screenings were organized in Sainte-Ad\u00e8le (Cin\u00e9ma Pine) and in Montr\u00e9al (Cin\u00e9ma Beaubien), followed by discussions with director Alexandra Elkin and protagonist Dierdre Wolownick, climber and mother of the legendary Alex Honnold.<\/p>\n<p>Visiting Quebec to accompany the theatrical release of the film, Dierdre Wolownick will participate in five other cinema meetings, namely in Gatineau (Cin\u00e9ma 9), Trois-Rivi\u00e8res (Cin\u00e9ma Le Tapis Rouge), Sherbrooke (La Maison du Cin\u00e9ma), Quebec (Cin\u00e9ma Le Clap Ste-Foy) and Montreal (Cin\u00e9math\u00e8que qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise).<\/p><div id=\"linit-1264511176\" class=\"linit-dans-le-contenu linit-entity-placement\"><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-8992136571741975\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-8992136571741975\" \ndata-ad-slot=\"1055921646\" \ndata-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins>\n<script> \n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); \n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n<p>SynopsisFrom the arid region of Red Rock Canyon to the impressive Yosemite Valley, filmmaker Alexandra Elkin embarks on an adventure that is as physical as it is introspective, where each climb pushes her to reconsider her limits. At 71, Dierdre became the oldest woman to climb El Capitan. At 73, Jack seeks to pass on his experience to the next generation.
