This year, 22 albums and their authors were selected from among all French-speaking works published in 2025, in Quebec and elsewhere. From humor to autobiographical stories, including science fiction, adventure and documentaries, these titles reflect the richness of the current offering in comics, particularly in Quebec.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the six distinctions whose finalists are presented below, and which were selected by a jury made up of booksellers and specialist columnists, two other prizes will also be awarded during the ceremony. The Jacques-Hurtubise Prize, intended for new creation, as well as the Albert-Chartier Prize, awarded every year in tribute to an individual or organization having marked the world of Quebec comics.<\/p>\n<p>This year again, $5,000 will be awarded in five categories by Qu\u00e9bec BD, in collaboration with Les Libraires, FAB T\u00e9l\u00e9-Qu\u00e9bec and Librairie Pantoute.
