Trained in Fine Arts in Algeria, he has always developed an artistic practice that explores drawing, painting, plastic arts and digital creation. His career has led him to work in several fields of image, notably computer graphics, graphics, video and multimedia creation. For the 42nd Vues d’Afrique International Film Festival, Ahmed Hasni signs the official poster with a work entitled “Fertile Projection”. This digital creation offers an encounter between the light of cinema and the material of painting. Inspired by the pictorial technique of impasto, the work plays with reliefs and light effects to give the image an almost tactile dimension. At the heart of the composition, bright tones of yellow and orange symbolize the energy and vitality of cinematic creation, while deep shades of blue and emerald provide contrast and depth. Furthermore, it should be noted that Ahmed Hasni’s poster also appears in the Rallye-Expos 2026 catalog which is dedicated to graphic and visual arts exhibitions. The event takes place from February 1 to June 30, 2026 in Montreal.

Article navigation

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display:block;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-8992136571741975"
data-ad-slot="1055921646"
data-ad-format="auto"></ins>

The program of the 42nd Vues d’Afrique International Film Festival presented by Quebecor, unveiled its program during a press meeting on March 10 at the Cinémathèque québécoise.
