Directed by Charles-Olivier Michaud, the film is written by Simon Lavoie, based on the novel How to Become a Monster by Jean Barbe. Produced by R\u00e9al Chabot, it stars \u00c9mile Proulx-Cloutier, \u00c9ric Godon, Peter Meltev, Laura Sepul and Sasha Samar. BECOMING A MONSTER will be on display across Quebec on March 19, 2027.<\/p>\n<p>When Quebec lawyer Fran\u00e7ois Chevalier goes to a Balkan country to defend an alleged war criminal named Viktor Rosh, the latter initially refuses to speak to him. The lawyer must then conduct his own investigation. With the help of Jozef, the mysterious driver and bodyguard provided for him, he returns to the genesis of the criminal; going to meet his family, witnesses, a victim, as well as a woman who would have been his lover. Against all hope, Fran\u00e7ois finally manages to make Viktor talk by evoking a deep wound.
