The event is aimed at musicians at the start of their careers, particularly university and college students from the province, who are invited to take part in a major professional experience in a stimulating and educational setting.<\/p>\n<p>No less than 18 applications were the subject of an initial selection by a jury of professionals. Six ensembles are now invited to present a mini-concert as part of the semi-finals which will be held on September 17 and 24 at Di\u00e8se Onze.<\/p>\n<p>Semi-final schedule* September 17 7:30 p.m. \u2013 Griffin Linklater Trio \u2013 Sophianne Girard \u2013 Alexandre Roux-Dufort Quartet* September 24 \u2013 7:30 p.m. \u2013 Jeremy Alie Leon Ensemble \u2013 Samuel Lechasseur \u2013 Mathys Colpron Quintet<\/p><div id=\"linit-773842508\" class=\"linit-dans-le-contenu linit-entity-placement\"><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-8992136571741975\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:inline-block;width:728px;height:90px;\" \ndata-ad-client=\"ca-pub-8992136571741975\" \ndata-ad-slot=\"6185130430\"><\/ins> \n<script> \n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); \n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n<p>Three groups will then be selected for the final, which will take place on November 1, at 1:00 p.m., at the Outremont Theater, where they will each perform a 40-minute program. The final performances will be captured by Marginal Studio, Productions Nord-Sud and Piccolo Mobile. Several prizes totaling an approximate value of $5,000 will be awarded to the winners by partners associated with the competition, including Studios Piccolo, Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Outremont and Pianos Bolduc. Finalists will benefit from professional support offered by Effendi, including advice and support for career development.<\/p>\n<p>The concert series <a href=\"mailto:Jazz@Vue\">Jazz@Vue<\/a>In addition to the Emerging Competition, several concerts by recognized Quebec artists and international artists will be presented as part of the event. <a href=\"mailto:Jazz@Vue\">Jazz@Vue<\/a>. From October 29 to November 1, the Outremont Theater will welcome F\u00e9lix St\u00fcssi and the duo Neve &#038; N\u00f8bel (October 29), \u00c9mie R.
