Presented as a world premiere in the Un Certain Regard section of the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, then as a Quebec premiere at the CINEMANIA Festival the same year, the film is the adaptation of the eponymous and autobiographical novel by Constance Debr\u00e9. Recipient of the Youth Prize at the Cabourg Film Festival in 2025, LOVE ME TENDER brings together on screen Quebecer Monia Chokri as well as Vicky Krieps (Corsage, Das Boot) and Antoine Reinartz (Anatomy of a Fall).<\/p>\n<p>One late summer, Cl\u00e9mence announces to her ex-husband that she has love affairs with women. Her life turns upside down when he takes away custody of her son. Cl\u00e9mence will have to fight to remain a mother, a woman, and free.<\/p>\n<p>Through this intimate and committed story, the film questions the place of women within traditional, often rigid family structures.
