Families and animation fans have the chance to discover the Asian animated film \u201cA Mighty Adventure\u201d, which is directed by Hong Kong director Toe Yuen. Even if we have a preference for the first film in the saga, we will not fail to highlight the acting of Keanu Reeves and Laurence Fishburne who played the roles of Neo and Morpheus respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Tribute to John Carpenter: A special mention goes to the October 16 screening of \u201cEscape from New York\u201d (New York 1997) at the Cin\u00e9math\u00e8que qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise. Directed in 1981 by John Carpenter, this absolute science fiction masterpiece brought together a legendary cast including Kurt Russell (in the iconic role of Snake Plissken), Lee Van Cleef and Ernest Borgnine. For the record, fifteen years later (in 1996), Carpenter and Kurt Russell teamed up again to follow up his adventures with \u201cEscape from L.A\u201d (Los Angeles 2013).<\/p>\n<p>The special presentation of the film \u201cThe Fog\u201d by John Carpenter is also screened on October 14 at the Cin\u00e9math\u00e8que Qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise.
