At a time when speeches are polite and formatted, Denis C\u00f4t\u00e9 has chosen to tackle the issue of euthanasia head-on.<\/p>\n<p>Commonly called, for reasons of social acceptability, \u201cmedical assistance in dying\u201d, the subject remains taboo and sensitive in many respects. She plays the character of Mira, a merchant of death who travels across Quebec meeting people in deep inner distress in the face of death.<\/p>\n<p>Mira travels to her clients and provides them with a lethal dose of liquid before resuming her journey to another destination.
