Signed by Shana Carroll, it will bring together some of the best acrobats in the world. Le Grenier also marks the first financial investment of Espace St-Denis as part of an international production.<\/p>\n<p>Le Grenier is a new stage in the 7 Fingers journey. After the success of Pub Royal, the company returns with an intimate and acrobatic show. Inspired by Shana&rsquo;s story, it will immerse the audience in a space full of memories, starting with her childhood bedroom located in the attic of her family home. It was there that Shana first imagined herself flying, long before becoming a solo trapeze artist with Cirque du Soleil. It was while lying on her back that she marveled at the shooting stars and also gave birth to her baby. A true living newspaper carried by the circus, Le Grenier addresses fear and courage in the face of the great trials of life: surviving, growing old, passing on.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis creation is largely inspired by my own story. Having a medical condition today, I feel the need to tell the story. I chose my childhood bedroom as a place of memory. That&rsquo;s where it all began: the hours spent lying staring at the beams, dreaming of suspending my body from them before becoming a trapeze artist, and, later, lying motionless under the medical imaging machines, still dreaming of rising above them. \u201c, says Shana Carroll.<\/p><div id=\"linit-4269218703\" class=\"linit-dans-le-contenu linit-entity-placement\"><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-8992136571741975\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:inline-block;width:728px;height:90px;\" \ndata-ad-client=\"ca-pub-8992136571741975\" \ndata-ad-slot=\"6185130430\"><\/ins> \n<script> \n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); \n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n<p>A first financial support in an international project for Espace St-Denis Le Grenier becomes the first creation of the 7 Doigts to be financially supported by Espace St-Denis as part of an international distribution. \u201cWith Le Grenier, we are very proud to sign the first international co-broadcast of Espace St-Denis. This is an important step for us, as we wish to become more involved in the development of local creations and contribute to their influence on world stages. This collaboration with Les 7 Doigts is fully in line with this vision,\u201d underlines Jacques Aub\u00e9, president and CEO of Espace St-Denis.<\/p>\n<p>A creation intended to travel Le Grenier will begin an international tour this fall. It will be presented in Montreal, before continuing its journey notably to Boston, New York, Madrid and several cities in Europe. \u201cThe creations of Les 7 Doigts are designed to travel and reach audiences around the world. It is my turn to salute the commitment of Espace St-Denis to local creations and for choosing us,\u201d underlines Nassib El-Husseini, president and general manager of 7 Doigts.<\/p>\n<p>The Attic | From November 10 to 15, 2026, Espace St-Denis<\/p>\n<p>About Shana Carroll Shana Carroll is the co-founder and artistic director of Les 7 Doigts. Since the creation of the company in 2002, Shana has directed, written and choreographed a dozen of their shows on tour and\/or in residence, including Passagers, Cuisine &#038; Confessions, S\u00e9quence 8, Traces, Psy and Mon \u00eele, mon coeur. Shana\u2019s collaborations extend beyond 7 Fingers. A former trapeze artist for 20 years, soloist with Cirque du Soleil and graduate of the National Circus School of Montreal, Shana made her debut with the Pickle Family Circus in San Francisco.
