Simply titled Marsupilami, the film brings together big names in French cinema (Philippe Lacheau, \u00c9lodie Fontan, Jamel Debbouze, Tarek Boudali, Booder, Jean Reno, Didier Bourdon, Alban Ivanov).<\/p>\n<p>This new project inevitably raises the comparison with the now cult version by Alain Chabat in 2012 which was based on a perfect balance between visual gags and memorable lines in the style of \u201cLes Nuls\u201d. We found a choice cast (Alain Chabat, Fred Testot, Lambert Wilson, G\u00e9raldine Nakache, Patrick Timsit and Jamel Debbouze who plays the role of Pablito Camaron, the clumsy Palombian guide, in both films).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-89215 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/linitiative.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Marsupilami-Tome-35-La-derniere-chasse.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"353\" srcset=\"https:\/\/linitiative.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Marsupilami-Tome-35-La-derniere-chasse.jpg 800w, https:\/\/linitiative.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Marsupilami-Tome-35-La-derniere-chasse-768x339.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\"\/><\/p>\n<h2>Focus on the 35th album<\/h2>\n<p>This cinematic interlude is an opportunity to highlight the release of Marsupilami\u2019s 35th album from Dupuis. Created by Andr\u00e9 Franquin in 1952 in the series Spirou et Fantasio, the Marsupilami is a yellow mammal with black spots that lives in the fictional state of Palombia somewhere in the Amazon. Its prehensile tail, which is around 8 meters long, allows it, among other things, to move around to escape its predators.<\/p><div id=\"linit-2954654691\" class=\"linit-dans-le-contenu linit-entity-placement\"><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-8992136571741975\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:inline-block;width:728px;height:90px;\" \ndata-ad-client=\"ca-pub-8992136571741975\" \ndata-ad-slot=\"6185130430\"><\/ins> \n<script> \n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); \n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n<p>This is also the theme of this new album which is titled: The Last Hunt<a href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\" id=\"_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, the five best hunters in the world are sent to Palombia by a mysterious sponsor to capture a marsupilami! Backalive, Estefania Forbalez, L\u00e9on de Bourgogne, Parhavi and Violette Delacourt will use all stratagems to capture the beast who will make life difficult for them.<\/p>\n<p>Will they succeed in accomplishing their mission?<\/p>\n<h2>A trio of authors for a rhythmic adventure<\/h2>\n<p>Luc Collin, known as Batem, who has been the designer of the series since 1987. As always, he wows us with the acrobatics of the marsupilami in the middle of the Amazon jungle. St\u00e9phan Colman, the official screenwriter of the series, has given way this time to a well-known duo from youth comics, namely <a href=\"https:\/\/linitiative.ca\/kid-toussaint-et-david-gilson-publient-tao-et-ses-monstres-une-serie-sur-les-emotions-et-les-betises\/\">Kid Toussaint<\/a> and Ced. The two screenwriters succeed in their bet by introducing us to a fast-paced adventure.<\/p>\n<p>Between them: Batem, Kid and Ced create a funny and thrilling marsupilami adventure.<\/p>\n<h2>The multiple lives of the Marsupilami<\/h2>\n<p>In addition to its own series, the Marsupilami regularly makes appearances in the Spirou and Fantasio series. It has been adapted in recent years into an animated series. More recently Zidrou and Frank P\u00e9\u00a0revisited the Marsupilami mythology in a slightly more realistic version.
