The documentary traces the journey of resilience of a young trans artist in the heart of the favelas of Rio de Janeiro.<\/p>\n<p>Circo has been screened at numerous festivals, including the Montreal International Documentary Meetings (RIDM), the Reelout Queer Film Festival, the MIX M\u00e9xico \u2013 Cine, Diversidad Sexual y de G\u00e9nero Festival and the Reelworld Film Festival, where it won two awards. The film also had great success in theaters last summer with several sold-out screenings. It is now available worldwide via the F3M+ online platform.<\/p>\n<p>Synopsis: In Rio de Janeiro, Richard dreams of shining in the biggest marquees in the world. The day the 20-year-old artist is kicked out by his adoptive mother, his life is turned upside down.
