UZEB en fusion is produced by Les Films Feux Roulants and co-distributed by Les Films Opale and Entract Films.<\/p>\n<p>UZEB en fusion plunges into the heart of the musical excitement of the 1980s, a time when three young Quebec musicians \u2014 Alain Caron, Michel Cusson and Paul Brochu \u2014 knew how to electrify the world stage by imposing a daring and virtuoso style. Formed by Michel Cusson (guitar), Alain Caron (bass) and Paul Brochu (drums), the group pushed the boundaries of jazz fusion thanks to exceptional virtuosity, formidable rigor and an innovative use of technology. During the 1980s, UZEB experienced remarkable success, rivaling in popularity with several pop groups of the time. The trio has sold more than 200,000 albums in Quebec, an exceptional figure for a jazz group, and has performed on the biggest jazz stages in the world. Their appearance at the Olympia in Paris in 1986 left its mark and confirmed their status as international ambassadors of Quebec jazz.<\/p>\n<p>Their excellence has been recognized on numerous occasions, notably by ADISQ, which awarded them the F\u00e9lix for Group of the Year in 1984 and 1989. Over the years, UZEB has won numerous other honors and has built a community of loyal fans both in Quebec and abroad. After their separation in 1992, the members of the group pursued flourishing musical careers, but the mark left by UZEB remains alive.
