You bring your blanket, we provide the popcorn!

Yoga in the parkIn collaboration with Atma Yoga, Pomgrenad and Studio Bizz, Avenue du Mont-Royal offers morning yoga sessions to beginners and enthusiasts alike, on August 2, 9, 16 and 23, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Parc des Compagnons-de-Saint-Laurent (corner of Mont-Royal Ave. and Cartier Street). August 2 and 9, Charlotte Monnin from the Studio Atma will offer a class accessible to all levels. It will engage participants in a series of movements synchronized with breathing, to help them loosen the body, gain flexibility and connect with themselves with ease. Each session will end with a special moment of relaxation, guided by Charlotte’s voice a cappella or with the guitar, to prolong the experience of presence and gentleness. Charlotte Monnin is a yoga teacher, certified Yoga Alliance in 2023. On August 16, the class will be given by Claudia Meunier from the PomGrenad studio. The class is designed as an intuitive and organic yoga flow, which invites you to slow down and treat yourself to a real break of gentleness. Guided by bodily sensations, the movement becomes fluid and liberating to promote mobility, deep relaxation and an authentic reconnection with oneself. On August 23, Gabrielle Skalak from Studio Bizz will offer a Vinyasa flow class, a fluid and conscious practice, punctuated by breathing, where the experience revolves around a physical, bodily or energetic theme. After a dynamic and progressive postural sequence, the experience concludes with a return to calm and guided relaxation to promote relaxation and inner balance.

Open-air cinema is backOpen-air cinema is back at Parc des Compagnons-de-Saint-Laurent on Wednesdays, August 5 and 12 at 8:30 p.m. On the program: two short films and two feature films that wowed the public, including two works by Quebec directors and an Oscar-winning film.

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display:inline-block;width:728px;height:90px;"
data-ad-client="ca-pub-8992136571741975"
data-ad-slot="6185130430"></ins>

On Wednesday, August 5 at 8:30 p.m., the short film C’est ma cœur (2026) directed by Zoé Pelchat will be presented, followed by the feature film Les Furies (2025) by Mélanie Charbonneau.
