A series of performances will go on sale today, marking the start of this tour across Quebec. The media premieres will take place on October 21 at Place des Arts and November 3 at the Grand Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n<p>Faithful to his unique style, Louis-Jos\u00e9 Houde offers here a show written over a period of seven years, nourished by fragments of life and refined on stage for some time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA treatise on memory, illness, these people we love and who leave us. But I also make comical faces! For this new effort, I will not give you the trick of \u201ca more personal show\u2026\u201d That, I have already done. I turn here to others \u2013 to another in particular \u2013 and to an incurable illness which takes away from me and my family, our mother: an inimitable iconoclast, a free thinker open to the world and its beauty; a lover of life leaving a colossal impact on mine. Our family adventure through the health system, its flaws, its successes (yes, yes\u2026), our role as caregivers and our very curious collective relationship with aging and the fate of the elderly. I wrote this show over a period of seven years. Through support in illness, loss of autonomy, anger and small rays of light. A private diary that has become public.
