AfriCan Magazine is a new cultural and editorial magazine dedicated to African, Caribbean and Afro-descendant voices established in Canada.

The magazine’s founding editorial, entitled “The African Story, Reimagined in Canada,” laid the foundations for the vision. According to its founder, Elimane Malick Sane, Africa does not stop at the continent: it lives, transforms and expresses itself here, through the journeys of thousands of women and men who reinvent their identity, their creativity and their contribution to Canadian society every day. AfriCan Magazine aims to be a place of truth, memory, transmission and celebration.

The newspaper L’initiative wishes on this occasion a long life to the entire AfriCan Magazine team
