Since the end of last June, the Dunort family show has amazed young and old in the brand new Ellipse performance hall. An incomparable experience awaits spectators in this unique immersive space in Canada, with this 75-minute multimedia theater show. The public will follow young Dunort in his quest to reach a star: an adventure that is both funny, touching and rich in meaning about perseverance and the importance of believing in yourself and in your dreams.
About the Ellipse Powered by the Beauceron theater company Pixel d’étoile, the Ellipse is an exceptional cultural infrastructure in the shape of a ring made up of 300 LED screens measuring 3.5 meters high by 17 meters in diameter. Surrounded by immersive surround sound, 155 spectators will enjoy different theatrical and multimedia experiences. “The Ellipse project was born from a somewhat crazy dream: to create a place where we can marvel together. A transformative cultural project for the regionDesigned as a driver of tourist attraction and a new kind of multimedia space, this project aims to offer an immersive artistic experience accessible to all audiences. This variable geometry venue will host youth shows, immersive installations, training for students, creative residencies as well as special events highlighting the diversity of local talents, thus becoming a hub of inspiration, pride and gathering for the community.
