Dynamic, acrobatic and colorful, warmly applauded at the last Edinburgh Fringe festival, it showcases the exceptional talents of its acrobats and musicians. An immersive show that explores the transmission of knowledge, the meeting of cultures and the magic of mutual respect, between ancestral rituals and aerial innovations, WOW: WORLD OF WORDS erases the borders and builds bridges between tradition and modernity. The dancers move between suspended hammocks, acrobatic balloons and human percussion, in a breathtaking visual fresco. Three emblematic figures – the boubou, the stick and the white hair – lead this artistic odyssey towards an unforgettable poetic fusion when two opposing groups manage to erase the white line painted on the ground. Under the direction of Yamoussa Bangoura, KALABANTÉ offers a unique moment where the audience’s wonder is summed up in a single word: WOW! 8 YEARS AND OVER.
