It was in a warm and emotional atmosphere that the official launch of the collection I Think of You at Éditions Aurora took place last Saturday, July 4 at the Livresse bookstore.
Initiated by Djaffar Kaci, this collective work brings together around thirty previously unpublished letters written by personalities from the arts, business and civil society, lifting the veil on strong words that no one had ever dared to say. Remember that for each book sold in Canada until July 4, 2027, it will be donated to the CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation.
The event brought together many project collaborators, including Nour Belkhiria, Rachad Antonius, Stina, Suzanne Kennelly, Mouloud Belabdi, Yves Alavo, Yanick Dutelly and Nylda Aktouf, representatives of the cultural community, as well as a large audience.
Words from Djaffar Kaci : “I often think of you” took off for the first time this evening in front of you, in the beautiful Livresse bookstore, on Notre Dame. To you who braved the heatwave, the traffic, the schedules too full to be there: thank you. Your looks, your smiles, your words before and after signing… all this gave a soul to the pages that I kept to myself for a long time. Thanks to you, this beautiful story is no longer just mine. She’s yours now. Thanks to Aurora Editions. With all my gratitude! 100% of sales from this book will go to a Montreal children’s hospital! (Facebook source)
Finally, we will emphasize that “I often think of you” is the 12th book by Djaffar Kaci who published in 2025 “ Stopping on the road“. The author who is also a journalist hosts the show Words of Light.
