The new Festilumi, the most fun light trail in Quebec, opens its doors in the heart of Marché Central on August 14, 2026, for an even more immersive edition filled with new features.
After a first edition which attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors from across the province, the new revamped Festilumi will light up Montreal’s summer evenings with a renewed 1.5 km luminous route. Have fun with the family this summer: young and old are invited to explore more than 13 spectacular thematic worlds, between magical worlds, giant and animatronic creatures, visual effects, music and animations – shows that will make you dance.
Wonder, magic and lights will be there. The new Festilumi is the perfect activity for beautiful summer evenings, a romantic stroll, amusing the children, stretching the parents and amaze young and old every time.

For this second edition, Festilumi unveils a whole new gigantic world of dinosaurs populated by life-size animatronic creatures, as well as a mysterious fluorescent maze to discover. Families will also be able to experience an interactive quest where children become real magicians by bringing impressive creatures to life.
