The Guardians is an anthropomorphic sculpture by the artist Jean-Robert Drouillard located outside the Raymond-Lévesque Library in Saint-Hubert which is located at 7025 Cousineau Boulevard.

The work catches the eye of those who come to the library for the first time. First of all, there is this large rectangular space encompassing granite stones which are arranged unevenly and on which daylight is reflected.

This pile of blocks gives the impression of forming a rocky wave on which a small footbridge is built. Crossing it, you can see a small circular platform where one of the many anthropomorphic creatures found on the site stands in the center. These little bears with a human appearance welcome you into a world of reflection and artistic contemplation and open the way to imagination and the discovery of significant figures in the Quebec cultural landscape.
