K-Films America is pleased to unveil the trailer for PAQUET DE TROUBLES, first feature film by director Myriam Guimond, which will have its world premiere during the 43rd edition of the Festival du cinéma international en Abitibi-Témiscamingue, which will take place in Rouyn-Noranda from October 31 to November 5. Starring Évelyne Rompré (Cérébrum) and Zachary Kaddouri-Champagne (The night Laurier Gaudreault woke up, The Prince) and Ambre Jabrane (The Goddess of Fireflies, Gâtées pourries), PAQUET DE TROUBLES will be released in Quebec on November 27, 2026.

Karim, a passionate teenager with a great future as a musician, learns that he has schizophrenia. Upset by this announcement, and surrounded by his mother and sister, he will try to rediscover his identity, even going so far as to put himself in danger. Package of Troubles depicts the story of Karim and his family who, shaken by mental illness, will have to demonstrate resilience, sometimes completely helpless.

PAQUET DE TROUBLES is the first feature film by director and screenwriter, Myriam Guimond. His short films, Jade & Matteo, Party of Hunting and Les Ratées, among others, have been noticed on the international and local festival circuit including the Cannes Film Festival, the Clermont Ferrand festival, REGARD and Fantasia.
