The 12th season of the Gamelin Gardens is in full swing! Nearly 180,000 people have already participated in the activities offered free of charge every day since the start of the summer season. Until September 13, 2026, everyone is invited to enjoy a rich free program featuring musical shows, DJ sets, dance classes, performances, humor, karaoke and many other activities in a green and friendly setting. Each day offers a different experience to discover the cultural richness of Montreal and fully enjoy the last weeks of summer!

A perfect week at Jardins Gamelin

MONDAY – Karaoke evening From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., the popular karaoke evenings hosted by JP Niagara are back to kick off the week in a festive atmosphere with a surge of favorite tunes.

TUESDAY – Jardins en cabaretThis series transforms the Gamelin Gardens into a real open-air stage with a vibrant multidisciplinary program combining humor, dance, circus, music and performances. September 1 (7 p.m. to 8 p.m.): Showcase of the next generation – 24th edition of the Quartiers Danses Festival – Discover the new generation of contemporary dance artists! Through a series of short creations presented free of charge in the open air, let yourself be surprised by the richness, audacity and diversity of Montreal’s next generation. September 8 (7 p.m. to 8 p.m.): evening of humor with Derrick Frenette, Joëlle Prud’homme and Charles Pellerin

WEDNESDAY – Line dancing with SPURS From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., line dancing evenings hosted by SPURS envelop the Gamelin Gardens in an inclusive and unifying atmosphere. Beginner or experienced dancer, the public is invited to let themselves be carried away by a program mixing traditional country and contemporary pop hits.

THURSDAY – Jardins d’IllusionFrom 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., the Jardins d’Illusion series brings the Gamelin Gardens to the rhythm of Montreal DJs and collectives who are shaping the current and future music scene. On the program: afrohouse and progressive houseSeptember 3: AfroditeSeptember 10: a special evening from the Illusion team with DJs Avenue One, Elias Erium and Rebel of Sleep

FRIDAY – Concerts in Gamelin From 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., the weekend begins musically with concerts highlighting the next generation of musicians. The series presents an eclectic program where local discoveries and daring artistic proposals intersect, ranging from salsa to hip-hop, including folk, country, blues and alternative sounds. September 4: GrandHuit, Aleksi Campagne and Héron September 11: Pouzza FC DJs Team, SOMET and Cross Dog – presented in collaboration with Pouzza Fest

SATURDAY: Salsa with Espace Yambae In the evening from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., the Gamelin Gardens come alive to the rhythm of salsa evenings hosted by Espace Yambae. The friendly atmosphere of these popular evenings attracts beginners or experienced dancers every week, rain or shine.

SUNDAY: Apéro-concerts From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., the Apéro-concerts invite the public to enjoy a gentle moment to end the week at the Gamelin Gardens. This new series highlights intimate, instrumental or acoustic concerts, exploring worlds ranging from jazz to chamber music, including bossa nova. September 13: a special pop-tropical evening with Espace Yambae and the Latin-Montreal group Tostao Club

At all timesIn addition to its daily programming, the Gamelin Gardens are a real place of life and meetings. All summer long, visitors are invited to enjoy the large green terrace and savor the classics from the Survenants snack bar, open every day from midday. Les Jardins Gamelin also offers a host of accessible games for the enjoyment of young and old alike: ping-pong, chess, handheld games, pear ball and giant chess. All in a musical atmosphere, provided continuously by ICI MUSIQUE.
