À partir du 6 juin 2017 des points additionnels ont été ajoutés dans le « programme d’immigration Entrée Express ». C’est un program fédéral auquel participent toutes les provinces canadiennes, à l’exception du Québec.
1. Des points additionnels pour de bonnes compétences en français
Le candidat à l’immigration qui passe un test de français et obtient au moins le niveau 7 (NCLC) dans les quatre compétences (compréhension de l’orale, expression orale, compréhension de l’écrit et expression écrite), il obtiendra les points suivants qui s’ajoutent aux points déjà accordés aux langues officielles:
15 points si le candidat a le niveau 4 (CLB) en anglais, ou un niveau inférieur, ou même s’il n’a pas passé le test d’anglais.
30 points si le candidat atteint au moins le niveau 5 (CLB) pour les quatre compétences en anglais.
2. Des points additionnels pour avoir un frère ou une sœur au Canada
Si le candidat à l’immigration (ou son époux/épouse) a un frère ou une sœur au Canada, il obtiendra 15 points additionnels aux conditions suivantes :
Le frère ou la sœur :
– vit au Canada
– est citoyen Canadien ou résident permanent du Canada.
– âgé(e) de 18 ans ou plus
– uni(e) au candidat (ou à son époux/épouse) par les liens du sang, l’adoption, le mariage ou union de fait
– doit avoir un parent en commun avec le candidat (ou son époux/épouse).
Les candidats qui satisfont aux critères d’admissibilité minimaux d’Entrée Expresse, seront automatiquement placés dans le bassin des candidats et immédiatement admissibles aux sélections.

Immigration: Favourable changes to “express entry program”
Starting June 6th, 2017, additional points will be added to “Express Entry immigration program”. It’s a federal program that is implemented in Canadian provinces, except Quebec.
1. Additional points for “good French language skills”
The immigrant candidate who pass a French language test and get at least Level 7 (NCLC) in the four skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing), will get the following points to be added to the points already calculated for official languages.
– 15 points if the candidate obtains level 4 (CLB) in English, or a lower level, or even if he didn’t pass an English test.
– 30 points if the candidate obtains at least level 5 (CLB) in the four English skills.
2. Additional points for having brothers or sisters in Canada
If the immigrant candidate (or his/her spouse) has a brother or a sister in Canada, he/she will obtain 15 additional points per the following conditions:
The brother or sister:
– Lives in Canada
– Has Canadian citizenship or permanent residence status in Canada
– at least 18 years old
– Related to the immigrant candidate by blood, adoption, marriage or common-law
– Has a shared parent with the immigrant candidate (or his/her spouse).
Candidates that meet the admissibility criteria for Express Entry, they will be automatically placed in the pool of candidates and immediately become eligible for selection.
