Montréal, June 16th 2016 – Discover Tatou Dembele artworks during the art exhibition ‘’FACES: PAINTINGS | ILLUSTRATIONS” From June 29 to July 24. It is natural that L’Espace Mushagalusa welcomes this young 24-year-old artist for her very first art exhibition. For her to create contemporary and sometimes futuristic pieces the young lady is inspired by the great African traditions. She addresses major social subjects such as women, children and Africa in general. As an UQUAM Marketing and Human resources alumni, as a real social media star, Tatou now feels ready to unveil her artworks in the gallery and is proud to do this alongside with its collection of first African Arts.

 

In 2014, the young artist receives the AAUM Prize for the  » Art category ». She is awarded by three universities associations which are McGill, Concordia and University of Montreal.
