As part of the Vent bleu exhibition, attend a celestial performance by Mykalle Bielinski. Like a breath coming from the ether, Mykalle’s crystalline voice brings together electronic music and sacred chants. His texts, which draw from several musical traditions, take the audience on a journey through different cultures, like the wind that crosses territories.
Venti, winds in the plural in Italian, offers at the heart of the Vent bleu installation a meditative, musical and relational experience around the breaths that pass through us. From the Greek pneuma (breath, wind) and the Latin spiritus (spirit, inner life, soul), the word spirituality brings together body and cosmos. Simple breathing is itself wind: the air we breathe has already been breathed by others and will continue to travel around the world. The performance invites the audience to feel this invisible force that circulates between beings, until it becomes voice, word, presence, and potentially, something greater than itself.
