Maison 4:3 and La Boîte à Fanny are pleased to announce that the animated feature film VINCENT ET LA PROPHÉTIE DES MERS (The Last Whale Singer) will be released in theaters in Quebec on September 4. Written and directed by Reza Memari, the film features the French voices of Louis-Julien Durso, Marc Labrèche, Ludivine Reding, Anne Dorval, Bruno Marcil, Fayolle Jean Jr, Fayolle Jean, Marie-Chantal Perron, Catherine Brunet, Léane Labrèche-Dor, Gilbert Lachance, Marie-Ève ​​Sansfaçon, Marc St-Martin, Oscar Vaillancourt and Barbada.

When the Leviathan escapes from the iceberg that kept him prisoner, Vincent, a young humpback whale consumed by a lack of self-confidence, will have no other choice but to face his fears and, with the help of his friends, dive into the depths of the seas to fulfill the prophecy: to become a singer of the seas and thus save the oceans.

Produced by Telescope Animation (Germany), in collaboration with PFX (Czech Republic), and La Boîte à Fanny (Canada), the film is enjoying a successful festival run. It was presented at around ten festivals, including the closing of the Montreal International Children’s Film Festival, winning two awards: the Club of Festivals Children Jury Prize at the Schlingel Festival in Chemnitz, Germany, and the Grand Jury Prize at the Blue Water Film Festival in California.
