Soon, Enukunnu will fly over Montreal, emblem and allegory of the 36th International Indigenous Presence Festival. His visit will take place on this blessed territory which was, in 1701, the scene of the great meeting of the peoples of America and the signing of the treaty of the Great Peace of Montreal.

Born by the Spider, the superhero Enukunnu embodies the power of dreams and creativity in the destiny of people. His inventive spirit thwarts human stupidity and, through twists and turns, weaves beauty with the agility of an acrobat. By his presence, the nightmare of murderous war is hindered, while the harmony of his joyful and sophisticated paintings invites us to imagine a world of joy, peace and reconciliation.

From August 4 to 14, 2026, the bold dream of peace will take shape in response to the dark madness of the princes of war.

Enukunnu is coming to town! Let the celebrations of indigenous arts, cultures and imaginations begin.
