The 12th season of the Gamelin Gardens is in full swing! Nearly 30,000 people have already participated in the activities offered free of charge every day. In July, don’t miss the cabarets every Tuesday, the new thing of the season.

MONDAY – Karaoke evening From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., the popular karaoke evenings hosted by JP Niagara are back to kick off the week in a festive atmosphere with a surge of favorite tunes.
TUESDAY – Jardins en cabaret Every Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., this series transforms the Gamelin Gardens into a real open-air stage with a bursting multidisciplinary program mixing humor, dance, circus, music and performances. July 7 (from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.): comedy evening with Gabrielle Caron (Zéro Musique), Maxime Gervais and Sami Landri (LOL LOL LOL agency) and Louis Brousseau to the entertainment. July 14 (from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.): improvisation match of the Montreal Improvisation League (LIM) July 21 (from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.): Streetdance battle – La Raza, 2nd edition with 100Lux July 28 (from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.): circus cabaret with Cirque Hors Piste
WEDNESDAY – Line dancing with SPURS From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., line dancing evenings hosted by SPURS envelop the Gamelin Gardens with an inclusive and unifying atmosphere. Beginners or experienced dancers, the public is invited to let themselves be carried away by a program mixing traditional country and contemporary pop hits.
THURSDAY – Jardins d’IllusionFrom 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., the Jardins d’Illusion series brings the Gamelin Gardens to the rhythm of Montreal DJs and collectives who are shaping the current and future music scene. FRIDAY – Concerts in Gamelin From 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., the weekend begins musically with concerts highlighting the next generation of musicians. The series presents an eclectic program where local discoveries and daring artistic proposals intersect, ranging from salsa to hip-hop, including folk, country, blues and alternative sounds. SATURDAY: Creative workshop with Exeko and Salsa with Espace Yambae In the afternoon from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., the public is invited to discover the Shared Living Laboratory, a series of creative workshops offered by Exeko, where pottery, vegetable dyeing and crafts are inspired by urban nature. An opportunity to create, explore and relax. In the evening from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., the Gamelin Gardens come alive to the rhythm of salsa evenings hosted by Espace Yambae. The friendly atmosphere of these popular evenings attracts beginners and experienced dancers every week, rain or shine.
SUNDAY: Apéro-concerts From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., the Apéro-concerts, a new series, features intimate, instrumental or acoustic concerts, exploring worlds ranging from jazz to chamber music, including bossa nova. This is an opportunity to enjoy a gentle moment to end the week at the Gamelin Gardens. AT ALL TIMESIn addition to its daily programming, the Gamelin Gardens are a real place for life and meetings. All summer long, visitors are invited to enjoy the large green terrace and savor the classics from the Survenants snack bar, open every day from midday. Les Jardins Gamelin also offers a host of accessible games for the enjoyment of young and old alike: ping-pong, chess, handheld games, pear ball and giant chess. All in a musical atmosphere, provided continuously by ICI MUSIQUE.
